Anti Slip vinyl Sealer 2.5L Gloss Finish Sealer For Tiles And Floor
Watco Vynacoat is a tough two part resin coating especially designed for applications onto vinyl or lino. Worn, stained, faded vinyl can be given a new lease of life and the coatings’ fine texture makes wet, slippery areas safer.
If the vinyl is in good decorative condition but just slippery, the clear version retains the appearance but makes it safe. Just one coat of the clear version is usually sufficient, two coats of the coloured version may be required, especially on darker surfaces.
1. Gloss, anti slip clear or coloured finish
2. Polyaspartic formulation has excellent resistance to UV and fading
3. Excellent abrasion and chemical resistance
4. Only one coat usually required
5. Will not taint food
6. EN71/3 certification as a non-toxic product
Coverage: Approximately 25m² per coat, one coat is usually sufficient. When applying onto a textured surface or into temperatures below 0°C, it is important that the product is ‘worked’ out over the 25m² area as it can become harder to apply in these situations.
Appearance clear, textured gloss finish.

Floor temperature must be above -10°C and dry. Existing floor paint finishes must be sound, grease and oil should be removed with Watco Industrial Floor Cleaner (or similar emulsifying degreasant). It is important that this is thoroughly washed off and the floor is allowed to dry. A good sweep or mechanical brushing is generally regarded as sufficient in these circumstances.
Mix between 10°C-25°C. Remove the two tins from the large outer tin. Stir each tin individually and pour into larger outer tin. (Ensure that tin contents are completely emptied by scraping the sides etc). At this point add the aggregate. Mix the components together thoroughly using a spatula or wide bladed tool. Continue mixing until an even blend/consistency is obtained. Do not mix more than one tin at a time. If a mixing blade and electric drill are used, also use a spatula to ensure any unmixed material from sides/corners and bottom of the tin is not missed. Do not dilute.
Apply between -10°C and +30°C. The viscosity will become somewhat thicker when applied at temperatures below 0°C and may result in a slight loss of coverage. When mixed a short pile roller should be used to work the product to around or over a 25m² area. This product is designed and performs best when applied very thinly (50 microns). If applied too thickly curing problems can occur.
